Hi, I’m McKayla 🤍

I’m a licensed esthetician, born and raised right here in Salem, Oregon. I’m the face behind Bare and the one you’ll be seeing for all your wax appointments.

I got into waxing because, honestly, it just felt like the perfect job for me. I love to yap, I love meeting new people, and I’m a sucker for instant gratification. There’s something so satisfying about seeing the results of a wax immediately and watching someone leave feeling even better than when they walked in.

I’m big on comfort and attention to detail, and I take the time to make sure you leave loving your results and knowing how to take care of your skin at home.

My goal is for you to feel comfortable the second you walk in. No awkward energy, no judgment. Just an easy, relaxed space where you can show up exactly as you are. We can chat and catch up the entire appointment, or you can lay back and I’ll shut up. Both are perfectly acceptable.

Outside of the treatment room, I’m a matcha-obsessed momma to the coolest, sweetest little girl in the whole world. I’m usually watching something on Bravo or rewatching Desperate Housewives for the 100th time, listening to something entirely too loud in my car, trying a new recipe, or finding another reason to rearrange something in my house. I love to yap, so there’s a very good chance your appointment turns into us catching up about our lives like we’ve known each other way longer than we actually have.

But if you’re not a yapper? I can read the room. Lay back, relax, and I promise I know how to shut up too.
